Finally, a movie musical for all the malcontents, lovers of fog, former and current residents of San Francisco and San Mateo counties, and anyone who has ever longed to leave their hometown or never wanted to. Basically, Colma: the Musical was for me and I think it might be for you, too. There's nothing like a rock-n-roll, discontented, coming of age story to bring a tear to my eye. Certainly knowledge of Colma makes this movie a little funnier, but knowledge of being 18 and on the precipice of so much change is what makes this movie poignant.
A little publication you might have heard of agrees with me. So do ET and Harold. If you are in San Francisco or New York you can see it now, if not save it to your Netflix queue.
P.S. John and I were both excited to see LA Renigen star of the Angel-loving short film, Hot Date, as hottie Maribel.
I can't resist. Thanks for including the preview.

The director of Colma was on OutQ@sirrius on the Frnk deCaro show last week and he was a hoot. I don't know if the movie will ever make it to Hartford CT! Maybe one day on dvd.
