Inspired by Ms. Aija's Etsy Fridays, I decided to play along. I have only made a handful of Etsy purchases so I am not sure how regular this feature will be, however since I love the idea behind Etsy I am sure there are many more purchases in my future.
A couple of months ago my cousin got married and I wanted to send him and his new wife something unique as a gift. I went trolling on Etsy for coffee mugs and found Circa Ceramics. They have several great designs, but I went with the dichotomous pair of bicycle and monster truck. To get matching cups, they custom made these two.
Last week, Aija featured Looby Lu on her blog. Looby features many different sewn items in her shop from head scarves to messenger bags--all very reasonably priced. She also does custom orders. Of course, I fell for the most expensive, most exquisitely made little purse:
Also, it came all the way from the UK to California in a matter of a few days!
If you are looking for some knitting paraphernalia I highly recommend ZeroMarker (Aija's store) for markers, row counters, and roving, Fearless Fibers has gorgeous yarns, and Split Yarn for needleholders and nifty Scrabble tile markers.
Alright, time to do some more shopping research!
I heart Etsy. And I *love* the mugs -- such an exquisite green!

Wow, I love those mugs. Choco-minty colors with bada** vehicles on them. Your link is going to fill up my kitchen!
