Alameda County Fair

John and I went to the Alameda County Fair today. We saw goats and chickens and cows and pigs and bunnies and most importantly sheep. We ate some fair food, rode the ferris wheel, and checked out people's collections of antenna balls and evil dolls. I had hoped for great inspiration from the hand-craft exhibition, but didn't see as much knitting (or sewing or crochet, for that matter) as I wanted to see. However, the lambs that were just born today more than made up for that. It was well worth the BART ride and the $2 Tuesday price of admission.
hee hee. you were seriously like, right next door to me! give or take a few miles. :) we still haven't gone, but i'm hoping we go either today or this weekend or something. :)

I love those kinds of things! Damn -- now I want to spend the day researching nearby fairs instead of reading...
