Spring cleaned

My mom came down and we went to work without taking a photo of the original state of my fabric/camera/sound equipment area. Imagine, if you will, everything in the above photos shoved onto a basic Ikea two shelf bare wood storage unit. The bottom shelf held two big plastic containers stuffed full of fabric and clothes to be remade. Next to them sat my 8mm projector. The next shelf had four giant, heavy piles of fabric. When the fabric cleared I also found the first bargain yarn purchase I ever made (8 balls of eyelash yarn from Elann--top left). On top of this mess was a container with several still and home motion picture cameras, my Marantz recorder, somewhere in the realm of 4,000 batteries, and some dusty crapola.
After about five hours of work, we ended up with this:
A thing of beauty.
Hey, it's gotta be done! :)

That is so damned organized. I love the feeling when you are finished organized something. It is such a high. Sigh.
I might fix up my craft stash.

Please come to my place with your mom. I'm having issues.

I need to do the very same thing. It's so calming to see all the stuff in such an organized state!
I notice you're listening to The Gossip... I could listen to "Standing in the Way of Control" over and over.

Enjoyed reading your blog this morning. If I am your 1000th comment please pass my winnings on to #1001. You are too much. Where DO you get all your energy and ideas?
Anyway, we did do a good job on the fabric stash, didn't we. I'm available for hire.
Love, Mom
