I finished this about ten days ago, but never had daylight time to take photos. Many thanks to Amy Boogie for her post on sewn steeks. It gave me the confidence to try it. I didn't notice until now that the stripes don't match up on the front anymore. Turns out I like the lack of symmetry.

Wow, that looks amazing! Are you going to make all of your cardigans this way from now on?
Missed dance class today. We went on our walk late, so I wasn't back in time. Next week!
We need to get together! Maybe this Friday or over the weekend?

I think this was very brave of you! And it worked! I like it and didn't even notice that the stripes don't match.

Oh...yeah...um...the cardigan looks great. I sort of forgot about when I got off on the hot dude tangent.

How can the stripes not line up? That's blowing my mind.
I love this, though. I'm tempted to do the same -- I think I'd wear it more than the pullover. But I'd have to cut my knitting! Ouch.

I didn't even notice that the stripes don't match until you pointed it out. It's really cute!

The cardigan looks wonderful! I love the buttons. Steeks are where it's at!

I love it! Good call on making that a cardi. I haven't done steeks yet, they frighten me. You're so brave!

You deserve a purple heart for that one. I liked the sweater before the surgery but I LOVE the cardi. So cute. Great choice of buttons.

That looks totally fantastic! Sort of gives me the courage to try it on my own - someday!

That looks fantastic, mis-matched stripies and all. I am sooo impressed with the steeking action. Haven't worked up the nerve yet, myself.
